Racing Highlights:
1983 Challenger Trials – Finished second to Australia II. Widely considered the best conventional twelve in Newport.
1984 Worlds – First in a fleet stacked with AC teams.
2009 Worlds – First in the Modern Division.
2009-2019 – Numerous North American, special regattas and Fleet Championships.
2019 Pre-Worlds – 1st Modern Division
2019 – IYAC Cup – all division 19 mile 12M Fleet Race around Jamestown Island – first to finish!
Fleet Racing: In the 2014 NYYC Around the Island Race, Victory ’83 and the J109, RUSH formed a two boat team called the Winner’s Alliance for the Rolex Cup. Victory finished first in the Twelve Metre Class (6 boats) and RUSH finished 2nd in her class (15 boats). The combined scores earned them a Rolex Cup!
